FLEXIBLE HEATING JACKETS

E-mail Print PDF

A large Range of Heated Flexible Jacket:

ELTRACE manufactures a range of flexible heating jackets particularly suited for the following applications:

We have the technology to design jackets suitable for any shape of support. These are particularly flexible jackets and particularly easy to install in difficult to reach areas.

The product is flexible, allowing excellent contact with the surface to be heated, meaning that the temperature is uniform and avoiding any hot points from forming.

  • Automatic valves
  • Pneumatic or electric transmitters
  • Flowmeters
  • Meters and rotameters
  • Ice levels
  • Local indicators and pressure gauges
  • Distribution "Clarinets"
  • Filters

  • Pipe sections, flanges, couplings, etc.
  • Protection of equipment exposed to flame or sparks

Heating Jackets technical characteristics:

Maximum power: 4800 Watts/m²

Power supply voltage from 24 to 400 volts

Design of silicon glass fabric or aluminum-coated glass fabric

Amagnetic construction if necessary

Many circuits per heating zone

Backup heating circuits

Total insulation by mineral or ceramic fiber

Attaching eyelets for hooks built in to facilitate assembly

Heating Jacket Design

The outer envelope of the mattress consists of suitable fabric depending on the environment and the temperature requirements.

The inside envelope is chosen according to the temperature of the product being conveyed, allowing for aggressions and dangers caused by malfunctioning.

The heating wire is attached to the inside envelope on the mattress side.

The insulating material is enclosed between two sealed envelopes, the various parts of which are stitched tightly together by fire-proof thread.

The mattress formed in this way, previously formed of the equipment to be heated and/or insulated, is held in place by self-attaching strips to facilitate repeated disassembly and assembly.

Each mattress can be equipped with a temperature sensor.
